Liam McNeive

specialises in electronic commerce, advertising, data protection, gaming, multimedia, information technology and telecommunications law.

His experience includes acting for many different types of rights- and technology-based businesses, such as providers of interactive services, content and commerce.

After over 10 years practice (latterly as a partner in a City law firm), Liam founded McNeive Solicitors in March 1998. In late 1998, Liam was one of three co-founding directors of iCrunch, one of the first legitimate providers of downloadable music. Liam therefore has significant first-hand experience of the legal and commercial issues arising from online distribution of music and other copyright content.

Successive editions of the Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession have listed Liam as one of the UK's leading practitioners of e-commerce and information technology law, and PLC Global Counsel 3000 shows Liam as a Leading Individual for E-Commerce and internet-related work.
